Bathing Away Negative Karma

I’m not sure if you believe by taking a bath in herbs, one can wash away the negative karma from one’s life.  I like baths, I do, but is there such a profound difference between cleaning and spiritual cleaning?  When I was a little girl my Grandma had a boarding house, (aka a boutique hotel), in Saratoga Springs, NY.  Spiritual and religious people would come from all over the world to stay with her and take the mineral baths at the Bath Spa.  This was a way of life for many people and the baths were 50 cents a soak!  Today, Spiritual Cleansing could cost as much as $10.00 a soak.  Perhaps it’s more difficult to clean karma these days???

My grandmother too had a place in Saratoga Springs. The combination of relaxing mineral baths and “cost effective” spas made all the difference. People are tense these days with the poor economy to spend money on the “unknown”. If we just take the chance, to do something for ourselves, take time out of the day for more understanding of who we are, we can possibly relate to others better. Now is the time before it gets more expensive.

Did your grandmother know my grandmother? Doing something for yourself does not have to involve the mighty dollar. I agree, relaxation cannot be dependent on money! If this is our reality, we’d all be bankrupt!
